Are coffee grounds (from a coffee machine) OK to put in a Compost Bin?

We have a coffee machine in our small office and it’s producing HEAPS of used coffee grounds. I just wonder if it’d be OK for me to give to my Mum for her to use in her compost bin… or if they’re not good for composting.

They are great to spread over the compost pile. And Bless YOU for being earth friendly.
