What kind of feed should i give a horse to optimize its manure for portobella mushroom beds?
i sell manure to mushroom farmers and i need to know what i can feed the horses to make the best manure for my customers. a best answer will be awarded.
the horses arent mine. they are nice and healthy
I would say the horse’s health comes first. I would make sure the feed is free from weed seeds that can pass through at the very least. I thought they used Chicken Manure for mushrooms as its the best? You might want to source some chicken manure and blend it in.
