Raised Beds Designs
wilderness/survival raised bed?
I’ve seen in a few videos that these survival experts make a raised bed in a shelter, but never explain how they did it, at least not well enough to make one yourself.
I’ll be rough camping soon and this is the only shelter design I have not been sucessful in making since there is nearly no information I can personally find.
can someone help me with this, I might be searching for the wrong things or something, please help.
this is a good example of it, I can’t figure out how he made the main supports under the bed, everything else I understand.
From what I saw in the video he had two short large diameter logs laying on the ground. Perpendicular to these he had two large logs resting on top. Another two short logs across the long ones with the small diameter on top of that to sleep on. It is just a different type of tepee stack. A small notch in each large log will keep them from moving.
